Yes, absolutely. Each additional copy costs €35 , with a discount for bulk orders. A wonderful way to create lasting memories for the whole family! Additional books can be purchased through the Elefantia app.
Can we add photos to the book?
You can add color photos at the beginning of each chapter of your book.
And of course, most importantly, a cover photo.
How long does a life story project take?
Our users typically complete their biography in 1 to 6 months . You have full access for 6 to 12 months, depending on your chosen plan, allowing you to take your time to finalize your project.
Can I write someone else's biography?
Absolutely, Elefantia allows you to write your own story or tell someone else's: a relative or a friend . You can recount the story of a loved one or someone you admire. Write a life story or tell a story that's important to you.
What if I want to write something other than a chronological biography?
Elefantia is suitable for many storytelling projects:
- The biography course includes a preparatory interview structured around 10 questions to guide your life story.
- The free path to give free rein to your desires: write about a trip, a significant experience, a story, or any other subject that is close to your heart.
How does the preparatory interview work?
The preparatory interview is a stage where we ask you a series of questions about your life to determine the synopsis of your biography. These questions are designed to explore different aspects of your life, such as your childhood, professional experiences, passions, and values. They allow us to prepare the chapters and personalized interviews tailored to your story .
How do personalized interviews work?
During this phase, you will answer specific, personalized questions . These questions will be grouped into interviews on specific themes , which will then be used to create the chapters of your book . You can choose to answer in writing or via audio recording , whichever you prefer.
How is artificial intelligence used?
Elefantia uses your answers to generate:
- personalized questions tailored to your background.
- convert your audio recordings into text
- generate your chapter into a structured text written in formal and coherent French.
Each step is designed to ensure your story comes to life smoothly.
You can then modify these chapters to ensure they perfectly reflect your vision and story . You have the option to review and edit the text at any time.
How do I create my book?
Once your chapters are finalized , you prepare the publishing elements of your book by writing, if necessary, a dedication , an acknowledgments page, and the back cover blurb . You must also add an illustration for the front cover . Once these steps are completed, you check the electronic version (PDF ebook) of your book, and finally, all that remains is to order the printed copies of your book.
You will receive them at home within 1 to 3 weeks.
Who owns the final text?
Elefantia is firmly committed to respecting and protecting the copyrights of its users. The copyright for books created through the Elefantia platform belongs 100% to the user who provided and designed the content.
Elefantia acts solely as a technical tool facilitating the creation and structuring of life stories. Under no circumstances does Elefantia claim any intellectual property rights over the content produced by its users.
How do you process personal data?
We strictly comply with the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation):
- Your data belongs to you : you can access it or request its destruction at any time.
- We do not sell your data or give it away for marketing purposes.
- Only the founders can access the data for potential investigations and the resolution of technical problems.
Can I sell my book?
By default, no. Printed books do not have an ISBN number and therefore cannot be legally sold in bookstores.
If you have a project requiring an ISBN number, contact us: we can offer you printing with an ISBN code or even a publishing offer for your book on Amazon.
It is important to note that we are not a publishing house, but a service designed to preserve and transmit your personal stories.
