I want to thank you warmly, as well as the entire team. The result is a truly beautiful piece, and I am so happy to have been able to create it with you. Your professionalism, attentiveness, and support were perfect from beginning to end. I will not hesitate to recommend you with pleasure.

Another project close to my heart has come to fruition. And I will never regret taking the plunge when I saw you on Facebook. I'm especially happy I did it, because every step, right up to the delivery of my books, has been positive, nothing to complain about, congratulations and thank you again.
— Teresa J.
A huge congratulations on this book, its cover, and its text, which perfectly captures my father's life. My sincere compliments and a big thank you to the entire Elefantia team for their hard work in creating this book, which brings back to life an exceptional man, and through him, our family.
— Pierre P.
I am so happy that my husband wrote this book. I am also proud, because he had wanted to tell his life story for a long time. He always shared anecdotes with us: at dinner, with friends, with family. And now, for once, his dream has come true. He never had the opportunity to do it before, because writing a book isn't something everyone can do. Now, thanks to you, he has been able to realize his dream.
— Lea D.
I lost my mother when I was 36. She fell off her bicycle, and in fact, she took all her memories with her. My children never knew her. Elefantia comes at the perfect time to allow us to pass on this living memory of the people we loved, or of ourselves, who don't want to fade into oblivion.
— Sylvie B.
I've had several difficult periods in my life, which I've overcome with varying degrees of success, and writing has been therapeutic. I've realized how far I've come since those dark times and that I'm stronger than before.
— Lucie L.
I think it's wonderful, a way to leave a legacy for our children, what we've learned from life, what we want to pass on, the lessons we've learned. And for my grandchildren, I really want to leave them a living testament.
— Marie R.
I've always wanted to create an autobiographical book, but not knowing where to start, Elefantia seemed perfect for me. And given the positive reviews, I decided to give it a try.
— Marina D.
Making the transmission of one's past and experiences accessible to everyone is, for me, a successful endeavor. The support provided for creating an autobiography is perfect; the process unfolds step by step. I highly recommend it.

Guillaume Besson, who has been based in Saint-Malo for five years, left his job at a multinational company to dedicate himself fully to the development of Elefantia, a company he co-founded with Julie and Thierry Moncorger in September 2024.
It all started with an observation: "Many people have things to say about themselves, whether it's to discuss their professional life, the birth of a first child, a significant moment in their life..."

For a truly unexpected gift under the tree, some startups are now offering… to give one's own biography, written by artificial intelligence. An original idea that is as appealing as it is intriguing.
This is the concept behind Elefantia, based in Saint-Malo, as well as My Wai and Ma vie en livre. The principle: an application asks you hundreds of personalized questions to retrace your entire life — childhood, parents, loves, significant memories. You answer orally, as in an interview with a biographer. The exercise is serious: 10 to 20 hours of exchanges.

Le Dauphiné Libéré
Since the end of September, Guillaume Besson, from Donzère, has launched Elefantia, an online service designed to help those who wish to write their biography and pass on memories within families. The story, first collected orally, is then written with the help of artificial intelligence, under the author's control, before being published in the form of a paper or digital book.

Ouest France
Guillaume Besson, co-founder of Elefantia, started with an observation: " In many families, people would like to know more about the history of their parents or grandparents. Often, these stories are not passed down. " This can lead to regrets, while " these stories are precious ". With his associates Julie and Thierry Moncorger, he had the idea of " developing an innovative method " to facilitate the writing of seniors' life stories.

Several startups are entering the generative AI biography and life story market, raising legitimate concerns among public writers.
Launched just over a year ago, the Elefantia application is already used by 8,000 users and has already facilitated the printing of approximately 500 biographies. These can be gifts for birthdays or retirements. But often, the initiative comes from the person who wishes to share their story. "Of course, we have seniors, and we even work with nursing homes," says Thierry Moncorger. "But we also have a younger clientele, mostly women aged 35 to 50 who want to recount life challenges they have experienced, such as bereavement, divorce, or surrogacy journeys. Here, we are more in the realm of cathartic writing."
Ultimately, the client leaves with their printed book for less than a hundred euros, or a little more depending on the print run. As an option, Elefantia offers the help of a literature student to assist older users in mastering the AI tool. "The presence of a companion also helps to facilitate expression," indicates the co-founder of the startup, which originated in Saint-Malo.

Faced with distance, artificial intelligence is becoming an ally for expatriates in preserving the memory of their elders. With a simple and accessible tool, a French startup allows memories to be transformed into digital heritage, strengthening family ties in a connected world.
Grandparents' memories are essential for maintaining a connection with younger generations.
In a world where families are often dispersed, the transmission of family stories becomes a challenge. Thierry Moncorger, Julie (his sister), and Guillaume Besson have found a solution: an application that uses artificial intelligence to capture and organize the memories of our elders. The goal is to preserve these stories before they are lost, while making them accessible to future generations.

Word of Life
The ELEFANTIA application, created in 2024 in St Malo, writes your story with the help of artificial intelligence. A simple and accessible solution. Guillaume Besson, co-founder, presents Elefantia in detail. Mission: developing intergenerational transmission – to have a record of our parents' and grandparents' lives. Elefantia allows users to collect memories and transform them into life stories, and thanks to a network of in-home support staff, the Elefantos, they assist people who are not comfortable with digital technology. Free trial up to a certain stage allowing testing. The application asks infinite personalized questions, possible themes, oral recording, memories are transcribed, it's possible to rework the life story. Once satisfied, it goes to print! Creating social bonds within families through the stories of elders. Users: seniors but also younger people to express a part of their lives, a birth, painful experiences... Guillaume BESSON partnered with Julie SOM, Thierry MONCORGER and Guillaume LELONG.

How many of us have regretted, when a loved one or an ancestor passed away, not having asked them more questions? Elefantia removes this discrimination by allowing everyone, even those less skilled with a keyboard or a sheet of paper, to transmit their life story. And even, to then receive the book of their story, to give to their loved ones, or to keep for themselves, should their memory fail.

The Little Journal
As digitalization accelerates, many indigenous communities and underrepresented cultures seek to preserve their narratives. A French startup, with its application named Elefantia, allows these testimonies to be captured before they disappear, but users must go through more common languages such as French, English, or Spanish. This process ensures that oral narratives are accessible and preserved in more widely understood formats.

The Little Journal
In the midst of the digital age, a team of French entrepreneurs is distinguishing itself with a bold initiative: using artificial intelligence to facilitate the writing of biographies in French. Thierry Moncorger, one of the founders of the Elefantia application, explains: "Our goal is to allow everyone to tell their story, without the literary barrier, just by telling their own story." A significant challenge.
